Wonder Woman’s Love interests
There is a very erudite article on why Superman and Wonder Woman should be paired together and I have included it in this blog. It also links you to a site that has fan fiction on the Superman and Wonder woman pairing.
In fact the site is a celebration of Superman and Wonder woman love affair. As you can see from the picture below Batman gets a view of this pairing and one begins to wonder what he really thinks especially considering that at one point it looked like Wonder Woman and Batman were hinted as being a couple.
I think in Justice League (2001-2004) when they get changed into children Wonder Woman flirts with Batman and then there’s exhibit A.
However moving on we consider Exhibit B
Then there’s the fact that Wonder Woman, Batman and Superman always feature in movies together. See previous posts. Now Wonder Woman can be forgiven on the grounds that she has little experience with men however ladies and gentlemen I now present to you Exhibit C.
And it would appear there are a few people in the Superman/Wonderwoman camp too. I love this piece of art work the contrast of colours and the redhigh lights on Wonder Woman and Superman’s costume.
then there’s the stolen kiss at hyper speed….
Then there’s this little piece of pop art which shows this pairing is one that fans have been considering for a long time. In Frank Miller’s Batman: The Dark Knight Strikes Again, which also takes place in the future, Clark and Diana had a super powered daughter called Lara, after Superman’s Kryptonian mother, whom they protected from the government. In typical Miller style, the relationship was memorably… intense:
There’s also incredibly a romance with Aquaman of all people which actually visually makes sense. His golden blonde looks to her Dark brooding yes Wonder Woman is brooding and she has a temper too.
Perhaps most famously, the Kingdom Come graphic novel by Mark Waid and Alex Ross introduced a reality where Wonder Woman and Superman coupled after Lois Lane was killed by the Joker, and where Kal-El and Diana eventually started a family (seen below with Uncle Batman):
Dr Helen Fisher of Match.com even had Wonder Woman filling in a dating form for the Site. Superman’s is on here too. Just click on the links to see thier dating forms. You can also go to Match.com to see Fisher’s analysis of the potential of thier relationship.
I have not included Stever Trevor cause I thought he was a wet blanket and quite frankly I was glad when he married Etta Candy. so there!!!
